Would You Pay For Ad-Free Social Media?

Focus on Consistency, Not Perfection This is a reminder that not every single post and/or content calendar is going to be the best-performing thing you’ve ever created. Performance variability is about the only constant in social media. It’s like a giant puzzle, except all the pieces change shapes every day, and the picture on the box is really fuzzy. So, when things don’t go well, learn what you can from it and try again. Social Updates You Need To Know About We’re Adding To Our Social Team! We’re hiring (again)! This time, we’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator to help us serve our clients. Content calendar creation, social reporting, community management, and publishing are a few of the tasks on this person’s plate. But, you get to join a pretty sweet crew! Click below to learn more. Here’s How (and Why) To Reuse Your Best Content

The Art of Repurposed Content We don’t talk about enough about repurposing high-performing social content. It’s an efficient way to fill out a social calendar and gives us a ton of valuable data. You want to repurpose posts for a few reasons. First, you know it works, right? There’s a message or element in there that your audience likes. And more of that is a good thing! The second, and equally important thing, is that repurposing will save you time. Like, a lot of time. And when you’re in charge of creating a content calendar, take your easy wins. When we say “repurposing” content, we don’t mean straight-up reposting the exact same content over and over again. That gets stale and boring. Audiences typically don’t like stale and boring. While that repost is okay every now and then, think about all of the ways you can rework that original high-performing post. Here’s

Who Hurt the Influencers

This Section Is Brought To You By Influencers #ad Think we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel with this one? Maybe you’re right. We’re doin’ it anyways. The thing with Influencers (social media users unaffiliated with any particular brand or company that promote products/services using their channels), is that they kinda ruined it for themselves. We think the biggest factor in most brand marketing now is authenticity, and macro influencers don’t really have that anymore. That’s not to say that they don’t mean what they promote, that might be true, but it’s hard for consumers to take their word for it when we simply know how much they were paid for a particular promotion. That destroys the effect that this is someone just like you. Which is why micro-influencers are actually good investments for brands. Sure, they’re doing that work full-time, but they aren’t always rubbing their position in your face.

Click To See The Future of Social in 2024 👀

Can Confirm, TikTok is Pushing Its Shop. Yeesh. We can’t scroll past more than a handful of videos before seeing a TikTok shop placement. They’re mostly t-shirts, sweaters, and knickknacks (think online Cracker Barrel gift shop), but we must have seen thousands over the past few weeks. And honestly, the content promoting them is pretty engaging. The purchase experience is also very smooth. The big question is this: if you sell a product, would you sell it on TikTok? And why wouldn’t you? It’s becoming a go-to source for search AND news (spoiler). 2024 Predictions You’ve seen a thousand of these by now. We get it. So have we. They all say the same thing in a different font: AI, AR, video, and shopping. There are no hot takes here—we agree that these will be big (just like last year and the year before). So, let’s have some fun. Check

Here’s What’s New With Us This Year

We’re So Back Where’d we go? Let’s break it down. We onboarded new monthly social media strategy and management clients towards the end of last year. It’s a rush and one of the most fun parts of the job, but it’s a busy time. There’s a lot to establish and learn, but it’s so worth the effort to get clients off to a strong start. We changed our team structure a little bit to better align with current content and social media trends, including hiring a video editor to focus specifically on long- and short-form social media video content. We worked on a new offering to match current content trends. We found that most of our clients need two things: smart, effective content and an efficient way to make that happen. So, we created a new offering for monthly social media content—clients can spend 2-4 hours recording with us and

RIP Twitter

Is It Too Early To Talk About X? So, Twitter is no more. The name, that is. And the blue. And the birdies 🙁 You’re probably wondering the same thing we are: what the heck? And while we may not be able to answer that question, we can answer a few different ones! Questions like: Let’s break it down. What does it mean for my brand? It’s not clear right now, honestly. The first thing that comes to mind is any Twitter iconography you have on your emails, websites, or business cards. At some point, you may want to change these, but we wouldn’t worry about it right now. It’s not even clear what the X brand is going to be—heck, it was launched before any branding was created. And some moves have been flaky, objectively. So don’t rush into any changes yet. How should we adjust our strategy?Twitter’s core product
