No permits. No weather. No gross green screen to clean up later. Move the sun between takes. Swap the city between setups.

FAQ
Questions we hear a lot
We've answered nearly every question you can think of including, can we fit an elephant in Studio A? Yes, as long as someone cleans up the poop.
How much does it cost to rent 9/8 Central Studios?
Studio rental at 9/8 Central Studios starts at $3,000 a day for Studio A with the LED wall, $1,250 a day for Studio B, and $1,200 a day for Studio D. Those rates cover the room. Crew, cinema cameras, and lighting kits are priced separately by the day, so you only pay for what your shoot needs.
Can I bring my own crew?
Yes. Most productions at 9/8 Central Studios rent the room and bring their own crew. You load in, plug in, and run the shoot your way. We show you the power, the grid, and the LED wall controls, then step out. If you need one wall operator or a full unit, our team is available by the day.
What is included with a studio rental?
A rental at 9/8 Central Studios includes the stage, its lighting grid and power, on-site parking, and a comfortable client area. Studio A adds the 40 by 15 foot LED wall. Cinema cameras, lighting packages, and crew are add-ons, so a room-only booking stays a room-only price.
How is an LED wall different from a green screen?
An LED wall puts the finished background behind your talent while you film, so what you see on set is what you deliver. The 40 by 15 foot wall at 9/8 Central Studios runs real-time environments. Reflections and lighting land naturally on people and products, and there is no keying or compositing in post.
What kinds of video work best on the LED wall?
The LED wall at 9/8 Central Studios works best for commercials, product videos, executive and talking-head videos that need a location, virtual events, and social content that changes settings between takes. It also puts your talent in places a crew can't easily go: hospital floors, factory lines, wind turbines, rooftops at golden hour.
Which stage should I book for a podcast?
Book Studio B or Studio D at 9/8 Central Studios for podcasts. Studio B is a 500 square foot bright set with light walls and two 86 inch displays for slides, logos, or a remote guest. Studio D is a 500 square foot dark set with couches and soft light for longer, more relaxed conversations.
Where is 9/8 Central Studios located?
9/8 Central Studios is at 212 Pelham Davis Circle in Greenville, South Carolina, at the corner of Pelham Road and Hollywood, just off I-85. Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport is one exit away, and the studio sits on the I-85 corridor between Charlotte and Atlanta, so regional teams can drive in and film the same day.
Do you offer white-label production for agencies?
Yes. While we do have our logo and branding on the outside of the building, agencies can rent 9/8 Central Studios and hire our crew under their own name, and the client never needs to know we exist. Book the room only, add a wall operator, or bring in the full unit with cameras, lighting, and audio. You direct, we execute, and the work ships under your brand.
