New York Butcher Shoppe Commercials

How we beefed up a local franchise’s brand message.

The Project

The New York Butcher Shoppe is a specialty grocery that took off over the last few years—and that’s not a surprise, considering they offer Certified Angus Beef, homemade sides and entrees, locally-sourced groceries, and many other things to keep your home kitchen well-stocked. After expanding their footprint into several states, they wanted to increase their brand recognition with targeted Google video ads.

The Challenge

New York Butcher truly had all the ingredients for success: a strong understanding of their customer, incredible products to back up their messaging, and warm, homey stores. So our biggest challenge was doing all of it justice–which meant filming raw meat and almost clinically clean kitchens in a way that didn’t feel sterile.

The Outcome

The storyline was simple: follow a couple through the store as they pick out their favorite products for dinner. Our production team intentionally planned camera movements to give off a feeling of energy, added color through spices and herbs, and used our favorite tips and tricks for lighting food.

On top of a :60, :30, and :15 for the ad cuts, we couldn’t resist sending several clips for social, too!
